The stuck-up hotel heiress was cut down to size by Texas singer Sharleen Spiteri in an amazing four-letter bust-up after Michael Jackson's disastrous comeback show.
Paris, 25, sparked the row by wrongly accusing Sharleen of showering her with ice - and called her a "fucking ugly idiot".But the no-nonsense Scot, 39, brandished a fist in Paris's face and bellowed back at her to send her packing. Minders pulled them apart but one witness said: "Sharleen looked ready to punch her."
Another guest revealed yesterday: "Sharleen pulled her fingers into a fist and screamed: 'Fuck off, I'm not scared of you'.
"In the States she gets away with behaving like she owns the place, but she doesn't realize we don't go in for that here."
The pair squared up at a posh West End party by magazine Vanity Fair following Wednesday's World Music Awards.
Pampered Paris irritated revellers at the party by ordering her minders to get them to stand back while she danced on seats.
The guest added: "That didn't go down too well with the crowd, who were all important people." The society girl blew her top when one fed-up reveller threw ice at her.
The guest went on: "She screamed and lurched towards Sharleen, who was sitting with friends, and shouted, 'What the fuck did you do, you fucking ugly idiot?'"
When minders dragged her away from angry Sharleen, she rounded on them for not stepping in earlier.
Foul-mouthed Paris screeched: "Why the fuck didn't you stop this? You saw they were throwing ice. Why are you here at all when you can't see this? Fucking idiot."
A spokesman for mum-of-one Sharleen yesterday confirmed the row. He said: "She was confronted by Paris and two bodyguards and accused of something she didn't do. She told them where to go in no uncertain terms."'
