The Rev. Jesse Jackson is calling on the entertainment industry to stop using the 'N' word.This comes after last weeks crazy rampage that Michael Richards went into in LA during a performance. He screamed the word repeatedly in an uncontrollable fit aimed at the Afro-American hecklers in the audience.
Jackson plans on meeting with television networks, film companies and musicians to talk about 'the word'. Jackson is also asking that people not buy the DVD box set of the 7th season of "Seinfeld."
Now that's the part I don't get. Why drag the rest of the Seinfeld cast into this? They didn't do it. But as for not using the word in let's just say, rap, as slang, I think, is a good thing.
