Sir Paul really got under Heather's skin this time. And I love it. McCartney reportedly went to his country estate that he shared at one time with his estranged wife. While there he took rare paintings, including a Picaso and a Renoir into his possesion and then reset the estate's security codes. Oh, and the best part? He told her about it in a text message.
The paintings are worth an estimated $19 million dollars. I highly doubt that Heather had that kind of money to begin with. So I can safely assume that most likely the paintings were Paul's.
When Heather visited the lodge soon after, she obviously became quite livid and phoned police. When police arrived they told her that she was basically S.O.L. It was a matter between the two of them and not the police since a theft hadn't actually occurred.
