Alex McCord is trying desperately to follow in the footsteps of celebrity socialites like Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton. Kim and Paris launched seemingly successful careers by removing their clothes for the camera but, unfortunately for Alex, that trick doesn’t always translate into success.
The Desperate Housewife from the Bravo reality show Desperate Housewives of New York City has posed nude once again in hopes of obtaining a little bit of publicity. Is she getting publicity? Yes. Is it the type of publicity she was hoping for? Probably not.
The fame-whore (or maybe just a whore in general, we’re not really sure) is being criticized not only for selling her body for cash but for using her new baby as a means of cashing in.
When asked about the naked photos of the housewife in In Touch Magazine, McCord says “it was a celebration that a new mom can be in great shape.”
Well, that’s great Alex, but just because you think you’re in great shape doesn’t mean everyone wants to see your tattas and it definitely doesn’t mean you’re hot.
Here’s an idea: Be a role model for your new baby. Spend a little more time playing patty-cake and peek-a-boo and little less time parading yourself in front of the camera. You have no hope of being successful on TV but there’s still a small chance you’ll be a good mom.
