Jhulan Goswami

Jhulan Goswami (born 25 November 1983, Nadia, Bengal, India) is an all round cricketer who plays for the India national women's cricket team, Bengal Women, East Zone Women as well as the Asia Women XI women's cricket team. She is currently the Indian Women's cricket team captain. On 1 February 2009, she was appointed to lead the team for the upcoming world cup.

An integral part of the team, Jhulan is noted for both her batting and bowling (right arm medium) capabilities. She has a Test bowling average of less than 20. In the 2006-07 season she guided the Indian team to first test series win in England.
