At the end of his statement, he went on to say “I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am”. Ricky says that the decision to be openly gay, which was made while he was writing his memoirs, has filled him not with fear but with strength and courage.
He hopes to live a life without boundaries and to be a strong and honest role model to his two young sons, which were born from a surrogate mother.
