Katrina Kaif Barbie Doll
Last year, we learnt that Katrina Kaif could soon push Aishwarya Rai off the throne to become the most recognised face around the world.
Kat was going to be the new face of Barbie!
On Day 1 of the Lakme Fashion Week, the actress even dressed up as the world's favourite doll - in a tiered mini with a brocade bodice and a giant gold bow at the back.
And more recently, Katrina got all dolled up in another tiered mini - this time in black - to unveil the new Barbie doll.
Incidentally, the Barbie doll is dressed in the same award-winning mini that Kat showcased on the LFW ramp in 2009.
Though initial reports claimed that the Katrina Barbie would only sport western attire, it turns out that Kat insisted it be dressed in Indian attire, too.
Meanwhile, we found out that Katrina's association with Barbie doesn't end here.
Mattel Toys India announced the launch of a special Barbie doll - in the likeness of Kat - which will be launched in 2011 as a part of BarbieΓ’€™s birthday celebrations.
Katrina joins other celebrities - like German Chancellor Angela Merkel and supermodel Heidi Klum - who have had one-of-a-kind Barbie dolls made in their likeness.
