Faria, a 20-year-old girl from Bangalore, won the title at the talent show with a scintillating belly dance that combines Oriental and Middle Eastern style.
Nicole has always dreamed of being a super star and a celebrity. Her dream was realized when she won the Miss India (South) in Dec 2009 and it was further solidified when she won the Miss India Earth crown in April 2010. Today, Nicole stands tall as one of the most recognized beauty queens in India. She is also enjoying her new found Celebrity status, as she absorbs the media attention to the fullest and yet has managed to retain her zest for life and her love for nature and all of mother earth's spellbinding creations.
Nicole is putting in a tremendous amount of effort to focus her attention on how she can make a difference to the planet. She has decided to promote the use of Solar Energy, as a clean green source of power, and has recently tied up with a Bangalore based company called U Solar to spread the word about how using the sun's renewal energy will reduce our dependence on fossil fuels.
She is being looked at as the #1 contender for the Miss Earth Pageant which will be held in Vietnam on the 4th of December 2010.
