Salman Khan starrer Veer is the first movie in the history of Bollywood to be shot in the premises of Buckhingam Palace. Palace is an official London residence of the British monarch.

Located in the city of Westminster, the palace built in 1703 for the Duke of Buckhingam is a setting of state ocassions and caters only to royal hospitality. However, their authority made a rare exception here permitting the Veer's cast to shoot in the "Queen House".

According to sources, Buckhingham Palace is a literal sacred ground for the British royalty that have never allowed any commercial activity to take place within the campus before. Veer is lucky to share its screen space with the 'royal icon'. The whole royalty look will just add a larger than life feel to the film. Veer couldn't have done better than this location.

Veer, an epic tale of a warrior will hit the screen on January 2010.

Salman might be for sure preparing himself to housemate the Queen of England very soon.
