Akhil Akkineni Rocks, Nag Kings won the Tollywood T20 Cricket Trophy 2010
Nagarjuna’s son Akhil Akkineni shown great all-round performance in the Tollywood T20 Cricket Trophy 2010. He made the difference between Kings and their opponents. He took four wickets in the match against Chiru Cheetas with fantastic spell of medium pace bowling. Akhil Akkineni shined with the bat in the final with an unbeaten half century. He has hit five fours and two sixes in his fifty. He was chosen as the man of the match in the final and also the man of the series.Nagarjuna’s Nag Kings defeated Venky’s Warriors in the T-20 Tollywood trophy Final match. The Movie Artistes Association (MAA) has raised Rs 1.5 crore for themselves at the LB Stadium on Sunday June 13th 2010. According to DC “The association contributed Rs 18 lakh towards weavers development fund, Rs 5 lakh for the education of children of poor actors and Rs 8 lakh towards city police welfare fund.”
Akhil Akkineni is the second son of Nagarjuna. Akhil has a done a film called “Sisindri” in Telugu few years back which was inspired by “Babys day out” movie. Akhil is planning to take up cricketing career and he got trained up in Perth cricket Association, Australia.
