It was a very bittersweet weekend. My step-father passed away at 11am on Friday, which was also my birthday/anniversary. He was surrounded by all his loved ones and went peacefully for the most part. Finally, no more suffering.
My weekend getaway was wonderful with my husband, full of laughing and crying in a gorgeous honeymoon suite on a beautiful island.
Life is crazy.
