Miranda Kerr Pregnant debut in Vogue January 2011 Edition
Miranda Kerr made her baby bump debut in Vogue Magazine Australia January 2011 Edition.
MIRANDA Kerr will be the first pregnant model to grace the cover of fashion bible Vogue Australia.
The supermodel, due to welcome her first child next year with British actor-husband Orlando Bloom, posed for the magazine's January issue, out on December 1.
"It was an honour to shoot the first ever pregnancy cover for Australian Vogue," the 27-year-old told.
The pictures, taken when Kerr was 6 1/2 months pregnant, feature her in a collection of designer frocks, including a sheer, white Alex Perry dress, clearly showing her blooming baby bump.
Kerr said she was taking life "day by day", but was looking forward to the birth.
"I'm definitely taking more time out to relax and be present to the whole experience of being pregnant," she said.
"Every mother I've spoken to has said you cannot explain the profound feeling of love that comes over you as soon as the baby is born.
"I'm really looking forward to that moment."
Kerr said she hoped to have a connection with the baby as special as that which she shared with her mother.
"The thought of having the opportunity to recreate that with my own child and family is incredible," she said.
Despite talk of a split with David Jones, the New York-based Victoria's Secret star confirmed she was still the department store's fashion ambassador.
She recently shot a new campaign for the company - with footage to air on Channel 9's 60 Minutes tonight.
Demi Moore was the first pregnant celebrity cover girl when she famously posed nude for Vanity Fair in 1991.
